The P.A.R.C. Foundation is entrenched in the blood, sweat, tears, and aspirations of Porter, Anderson, Robinson, and Capers families whose origins are traced back to the early 1800s in South Carolina. Through the bonds of family, faith, strength, and perseverance they endured the challenges and obstacles that impeded the advancement of the African Americans.
As the families expanded, they contributed in different ways to the growth of the United States through public service, fellowship, and assistance to people in need. As the descendants of our proud and accomplished ancestors, the members of this foundation through education and public service will provide guidance and assistance to communities in need by helping reform systems and ideologies that impede the progress of people of color relative to the housing, education, healthcare and equal protection under the law.
We are on a mission aspire to break the chains of systematic racism in place that still hold African Americans back in the state of South Carolina.
Going after poverty and racist symptoms are temporary. Going after its causes is permanent for everyone.
In an effort to ensure our focus has the greatest impact, we are building a network of volunteers in fulfilling our mission.
